Monster Blog Sack Server Upgraded!

Monster Blog Sack is now back to its original state. All functionalities are back to norm. I am currently improving <a href="http://www.themusichutch.com/">The Music Hutch</a>. Haven't had a chance to do anything new to Monster Blog Sack. I do have a large list of what I want to do next and we also have a new version of <a href="http://www.campusgrind.com/">CampusGrind.com</a> coming soon. A lot going on. I will keep you posted of all the news.

Server Upgrade

Monster Blog Sack is currently changing servers and going through updates. In the meantime, the "Surf the Sack!" and search option for the toolbar will only work. We are planning to have the rest of the options of the toolbar working very soon. I will keep updates at the Monster Blog Sack Blog.

The Music Hutch

In the meantime of working on one of my ideas, I thought up of another
 idea.
The Music Hutch. This website I released two days ago. It's a site
 for
 people to upload their music,
and then be able to share, search & browse, and just listen to music
without having to do any downloads.

Idea

Haven't updated the Monster Blog Sack Blog for a while. I've been working on this idea which I believe is going to be quite big. Hopefully I'll be able to execute this idea in about 8 to 9 months. In the meantime I'll be looking around for employment in NYC. As for Monster Blog Sack, the latest addition is the community. I've got a bunch of ideas I have wrote down I want to add as well. So much to do.. I'm currently looking for an ActionScript 2.0/3.0, Adobe Flex job. If you have a job opening or know of one in NYC, can you please e-mail me at general@monsterblogsack.com. Thank you.

Released a new version of the Monster Blog Sack Toolbar today! Version 0.2. This version allows users to choose either Full Mode or Tile Mode from the toolbar.
Sack This!

Added a cool new feature for bloggers to get more traffic. If you look to the right, you'll see a button on the bottom that reads "SACK THIS!" This allows any person to sack your blog from your blog without the MBS toolbar (Registration still required. This allows one sack per blog per user.) Here's how this works. Every time your blog gets sacked, it gets rated. This allows the MBS Toolbar to see which blogs are great to surf (meaning the more good sacks, the more people will see your blog.) This is based on weekly sacks. A person who already sacked your blog may sack it again in a week.

Sack Surfer Modes

I was thinking of the movie Back to the Future and I remembered a part where the television set had many stations playing all at one time. This made me come up with the Tile Sack Surfer Mode idea. Now you can choose either Full or Tile mode. The Tile mode lets you surf and view a little description of 9 (3x3) blogs at once. I'm still adding more to this feature.

The Monster Blog is Unleashed!

Just released the Monster Blog Sack Blog. I was going to release the blog August 11, but I then decided to code the blog from scratch. That is why there is an August 11 blog post. I'm currently working on improving the tagging functionality for tagging blogs. Have a whole list in front of me for improving the Site. MBS is growing quite steadily. Today there are 90 members, 25 blogs sacked, and 558 toolbar downloads. I caught a few errors here and there, but now they are fixed.

The Monster is Unleashed!

I just recently learned how to code FireFox extensions. On my way from work in Manhattan to a friend's house in Brooklyn, I was thinking of new ideas I can do by building a FireFox browser extension. One of my favorite FireFox extensions is the Stumble Upon toolbar by Geoff Smith. This toolbar is one of my inspirations for creating the Monster Blog Sack toolbar.
